Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Bucak Business Faculty continues to raise awareness in the community it lives in with social responsibility projects. Acting with the mission of "From Universal Knowledge to Social Contribution", the faculty successfully implements various social responsibility projects with the participation of its students.
One of the most important initiatives of the faculty, BIF VOLUNTEERS, adds value to the society through various social projects in Bucak district. This organization includes many important activities such as visiting the families of martyrs, supporting earthquake victims, environmental cleaning, mosque cleaning, and tree planting.
Especially on March 18th, Çanakkale Victory and Martyrs' Memorial Day, students who visited the families of martyrs remembered our martyrs with mercy and gratitude. During the month of Ramadan, volunteer students touched hearts by serving meals to hundreds of people every day at the iftar tent.
During the Earthquake Week of March 1-7, students visited the families who were hosted in the district after the earthquake on February 6th to boost their morale. In addition, they created awareness about respect for nature and environmental consciousness through the environmental cleaning and tree planting event carried out in collaboration with the Bucak Forest Management Directorate.
Before the Ramadan Feast, the mosques in Bucak were cleaned with great care. Volunteer students cleaned the interior and exterior of the mosques, swept the courtyards, cleaned the windows, and painted the walls.
Bucak Business Faculty emphasizes that it will continue to touch every segment of society and create positive effects with its social sensitivity projects. The active participation of students in these projects contributes to their personal development and reinforces their responsibility to society.
